I love Christmas shopping. The excitement of looking around the shops, trying to find that perfect gift. The thrill of getting a bargain pressie, the one that looks expensive but is’nt and the satisfaction of matching presents to family and friends.
I took my daughter to Harbortown shopping complex today. The decorations are up and ready to embrace this time of year. They’ve chosen the theme of Joy and Love this year, and it looks smashing.
There’s even a 10 foot Santa ……🎅

Yes, gift giving in this season can heal my spirit now. The spirit of altruistic attention to other’s holiday needs is of supreme importance this year in view of the damage done to our country’s sense of decency as a result of the recent election.

It looks a lovely place to shop. I too love shopping but again this year have managed to do most of it online. Yes, sometimes it can be a bit hit and miss but I’m usually very lucky and I still get a kick out of finding a real bargain. The joy of delivery is so good I can ignore the spite on the postman’s face. The down side of course is that all the prezzies must be wrapped. Hmmm, who do I know that can help?
